Photo: Btcfight / CC BY-SA 4.0UFC Fight Night: Buckley vs Malott puts 13 fights on at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Alberta, on Saturday, October 17. There is no title on the line and no pay-per-view, but the main event is a five-round welterweight fight between two ranked contenders, and 12 of the 13 bouts have a Canadian in one of the corners.
Joaquin Buckley (21-8), ranked No. 10 at welterweight, headlines against No. 13 Mike Malott (14-2-1). They arrive from opposite directions. Buckley has dropped two straight decisions, to Kamaru Usman in June 2025 and to Sean Brady at UFC 328 in May. Malott has won three in a row, the last a third-round knockout of Gilbert Burns when he headlined in Winnipeg in April. The co-main is a women's flyweight fight between No. 4 Erin Blanchfield (14-2) and No. 6 Jasmine Jasudavicius (15-4). Blanchfield has not fought since she submitted Tracy Cortez in November 2025, and Jasudavicius comes in off a unanimous decision over Karine Silva on that same Winnipeg card.
