RIZIN 55 puts 15 fights on at LaLa Arena Tokyo-Bay in Funabashi, Chiba, on Sunday, November 8 in Japan, which is still Saturday night, November 7, across the Americas. One title is on the line, at flyweight in the main event, and two of the bouts are scheduled for two rounds rather than three.

Makoto Takahashi (23-5-1) won a flyweight title fight over Hiromasa Ougikubo by unanimous decision in Sendai on June 6, his third straight win after a decision over Hiroya Kondo on New Year's Eve and a first-round kimura on Nkazimulo Zulu in April. Tony Laramie (13-3) was on that same Sendai card and beat Yuki Motoya by unanimous decision at a 130-pound catchweight. That is Laramie's third straight win too, after a decision over Wataru Yamauchi in Kobe in November 2025 and a third-round TKO of Takaki Soya at RIZIN 52 in March. Motoya is the thread between them: he beat Takahashi on the cards at RIZIN 51 in September 2025, the last time Takahashi lost.

The co-main brings back Naoki Inoue (21-5) at bantamweight against Yrysbek Tilenov (8-1). Inoue won three straight bantamweight title fights, over Soo Chul Kim, Yuki Motoya and Ryuya Fukuda, before losing a split decision to Danny Sabatello in a title fight on New Year's Eve 2025; he rebounded with a decision over Marcirley Alves at PFL Brussels in May. Tilenov stopped Shinobu Ota with a knee in the second round in Hiroshima on July 18, and Ota is on this card as well, against Jinnosuke Kashimura.

Start times

  • First bell: 1:00 p.m. JST, Sunday, November 8 (11:00 p.m. ET and 8:00 p.m. PT on Saturday, November 7; 4:00 a.m. GMT and 5:00 a.m. CET on Sunday)
  • Prelims: 3:00 p.m. JST (1:00 a.m. ET Sunday, 10:00 p.m. PT Saturday, 6:00 a.m. GMT, 7:00 a.m. CET)
  • Main card: 5:00 p.m. JST (3:00 a.m. ET and midnight PT on Sunday, 8:00 a.m. GMT, 9:00 a.m. CET)

Seoul is on the same clock as Tokyo. The listed start moved two hours earlier on November 1, so a 3:00 p.m. JST first bell saved before then is out of date.

The third bout on the main card pairs two men Inoue has already beaten in title fights. He knocked out Soo Chul Kim (24-9-1) in the first round at RIZIN 48 in September 2024 and outpointed Ryuya Fukuda (26-10-1) at Super RIZIN 4 in July 2025. Fukuda is coming off a second-round knockout loss to Azizbek Temirov in Fukuoka in April, and Kim's most recent RIZIN fight was a decision loss to Shoko Sato in May 2025.

Further down, Kazuki Aimoto puts a 10-0 record on the line against Kaleo Meheula (7-4), and Takumi Hamada (7-0) meets the far more experienced Sho Sekihara (14-5). Nothing has come off this card since it filled in; the last bout added was Yamasaki vs Wilkins on October 29, and the full history is on the event page.
