BKFC 96 Glasgow: Cooke vs Weir puts 11 bare-knuckle bouts on at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow on Saturday, November 7. One belt is on the line, in the light heavyweight main event, and every bout on the card is scheduled for five rounds. The card has also changed four times since October 22, and one slot is on its third pairing.
Conor Cooke (6-1) has won four straight, and the last two were title fights: a unanimous decision over Matt Hodgson at BKFC 68 in November 2024, then a third-round stoppage of Anthony Holmes in his own headliner in Derby last December. His only bare-knuckle loss is a first-round stoppage by Dawid Oskar at cruiserweight in April 2024. A booking against Jared Warren in April fell through, so he walks out after nearly 11 months away. Sean Weir (3-0) has finished all three of his opponents, and the two in BKFC were a second-round stoppage of Joe Lister at BKFC 81 in September 2025, then a first-round knockout of the same Matt Hodgson in Newcastle in March. That gives the two men one common opponent: Cooke needed five rounds to beat Hodgson, Weir needed 102 seconds.
The co-main is a crossover. Scotland's Stevie Ray (26-13 in MMA) makes his bare-knuckle debut against Danny Christie (5-3), who has lost his last two, to David Mundell in a middleweight title fight in October 2024 and to Connor Tierney at BKFC 77 in June 2025. Ray's last MMA fight was a first-round submission of Lewis Long in PFL Europe in September 2024.
Start times
- Full card: 7:00 p.m. GMT in Glasgow, Saturday, November 7 (2:00 p.m. ET, 11:00 a.m. PT, 8:00 p.m. CET)
BKFC has published one start time for the night, not separate times for parts of the card. The US left daylight time on November 1, so New York is back to five hours behind the UK.
