ONE Fight Night 49 brings nine bouts out of Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok on Friday, November 6 in the United States (Saturday morning, November 7, local time in Thailand). No belt is on the line, and the card runs across four rule sets: four MMA fights, three kickboxing bouts, one Muay Thai bout and one submission grappling match. The main event is a lightweight MMA fight between two men who have never lost inside the promotion, because one of them has never been inside it.
Lucas Gabriel (11-1, 1 NC), a 26-year-old Brazilian out of Nova União Phuket, is 5-0 with a no contest in ONE. He has gone the distance in four of those five wins, most recently a split decision over Ok Rae Yoon at ONE Fight Night 44 on June 27, after a unanimous decision over Magomed Akaev in February. His only pro loss is a TKO to Taffarel Brasil back in May 2019. Magomed Magomedov (15-0), from Bahrain and out of KHK Dagestan, makes his ONE debut. Five of his wins came by knockout or TKO, four by submission and six on the cards, and his last fight was a submission win over Magno Silva in June 2025, so he walks in after nearly 17 months away. He was not the original opponent: Gabriel was booked against Alibeg Rasulov until October 24.
Right under them is a rematch. Kongthoranee Sor Sommai beat Taiki Naito by unanimous decision under Muay Thai rules at ONE Friday Fights 37 in October 2023, and this time they meet at flyweight kickboxing. Kongthoranee is 12-6 in ONE. He beat Nong-O Hama by split decision in February 2025, lost his next four, and stopped the slide with a unanimous decision over Yuan Pengjie in a kickboxing bout on September 25. Naito is 10-6 in ONE and has won three straight: a majority decision over Johan Estupinan in June 2025, a first-round knockout of Nakrob Fairtex last November and a unanimous decision over Hyu at ONE SAMURAI 1 in April.
Start times
- Full card: 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT, Friday, November 6 (2:00 a.m. GMT, 3:00 a.m. CET and 6:00 a.m. in Tbilisi on Saturday, November 7; 9:00 a.m. Saturday in Bangkok)
The US left daylight time on November 1, so the clocks are back in step this week: New York is five hours behind London again, after a week in which the gap was four. ONE has published one start time for the night, not separate times for each part of the card.
The full card
Main card
- Lucas Gabriel vs Magomed Magomedov, lightweight MMA
- Kongthoranee Sor Sommai vs Taiki Naito, flyweight kickboxing
- Lee Seung Cheol vs Nazareth Lalthazuala, strawweight MMA
- Nontachai Jitmuangnon vs Felipe Lobo, bantamweight Muay Thai
- Zhou Jiaqiang vs Mamuka Usubyan, featherweight kickboxing
- Vick Souza vs Magdalena Czaban, atomweight MMA
- Bogdan Shumarov vs Gasham Mammadov, lightweight kickboxing
- Victor Hugo vs Devhonte Johnson, openweight submission grappling
- Qalandar Tabarov vs Ilmadi Israilov, bantamweight MMA
The strawweight MMA bout puts two perfect ONE records in the same cage. Lee Seung Cheol is 6-0 in the promotion and 13-1 as a pro, with unanimous decisions over Fabio Henrique in March and Bokang Masunyane in July; his booking against Karen Ghazaryan at ONE Fight Night 48 in October fell through. Nazareth Lalthazuala of India is 3-0 in ONE and has finished all three, starting with a 17-second knockout of Masaki Suzuki last November.
The card changed three times on October 24. Besides the main event swap, Naito's original opponent was Johan Estupinan, the man he had already beaten in June 2025, before Kongthoranee took the spot. Felipe Lobo's opponent switched from Katsuki Kitano to Nontachai, which makes their bout a second straight meeting: Nontachai beat Lobo by unanimous decision at ONE Fight Night 43 on May 16. Lobo, who has twice fought for the bantamweight Muay Thai title, is 4-6 in ONE and on a three-fight losing streak. Shumarov vs Mammadov was added on October 26. Every change is logged on the event page.
